This Gate was tailor-made to an idea of designer Dirk Wynants and gate builder Peter Boucneau. It's unique because it disappears into the ground when opened. The gate bars of this retractable vertical fence system sink completely into the ground after which you can drive on. To achieve this, a cellar was cast in concrete under the driveway. The gate is operated remotely with transmitters, videophone and telephony. Special red-green LEDs were designed to provide the gate with signaling.
